Lubbock Animal Services has done such a great job meeting the community’s needs that they’ve been awarded a grant to do even more—and that’s something worth paying attention to.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: we can control the pet population in Lubbock. We just have to decide to do it. It starts—and honestly, it ends—with spaying and neutering pets. I get it, life gets busy and money can be tight, but compare that to the time spent trying to give away a litter of puppies… or the cost of raising them yourself. This is one of those “pay a little now or pay a lot later” situations.
Lubbock Animal Services Receives A Large Grant
Here’s the good news—there’s help.
Lubbock Animal Services already offers spay and neuter vouchers from time to time, and now they’ve received a $150,000 grant that will fund an estimated 1,500 MORE vouchers. That’s not small potatoes—that’s real, measurable impact…
