Slaton ISD asks voters to approve more than $50 million in bonds

SLATON, Texas (KCBD) — Slaton ISD is asking residents to approve more than $50 million in bonds for facility improvements.

One bond is worth $51 million. It would go toward building a new elementary school, more classrooms, safety and security upgrades and renovations.

The money would also support building new baseball and softball stadiums, a track and tennis courts…
