You don’t need a huge welcome sign to know when somebody is new to town. There are plenty of signs.
First of all, their car is spotless. Not “pretty clean”, I’m talking like showroom-shiny. It won’t be long now.
Someone new to town will also underestimate Lubbock’s weather and have major issues figuring out what to wear. It’s a daily roulette here. Bonus points if they are still carrying a jacket around at noon, just SURE they will be able to wear it again the same day…yeah, no…
