Lubbock V.O.I.C.E.S to host a meet & greet to honor lost loved ones

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock V.O.I.C.E.S, which stands for Validating Our Individual Challenges and Experiences, will host its first-ever meet and greet, where the organization will lend a helping hand, be a resource and remember the ones they’ve lost.

Christina Pauda, Anna Ysasaga and Isabel Ortiz are three Lubbock women who lost their loved ones in some of the city’s notable homicide and missing cases, who started this organization to help families who’ve been in similar situations — turning their grief into action.

“I didn’t expect this to turn into helping other families during our case. I had a lot of families reach out and it turned to helping, saving a whole bunch of teenagers,” said Ysasaga…
