No. 1 Red Raider Softball falls to Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (TTU) – No. 1 Texas Tech (39-3, 15-2) dropped game two of its series against Utah (27-14-1, 5-8-1) 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. Two weather delays marked a weird contest in a game that’s official run time was close to five hours. The first weather delay came after the top of the first inning and the second came in the middle of the top of the fifth.

Kaitlyn Terry and Taylor Pannell were the only big contributors for Tech in the game. Terry got her first loss of the season but went 6.0 innings and allowed just four hits as all four runs scored were unearned. Terry and Pannell both went 2-for-3 at the plate and Lauren Allred got the only other hit for the Red Raiders.
