LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – It was a cold start to Sunday with freezing temperatures in the northwest communities and Lubbock with a low of 36 degrees.
Fortunately, sunshine and some gusty south winds brought afternoon temps back to the 60s and 70s.
Monday, it’s back to cooler temperatures and a chance of some rain. However, the rain chances will primarily be showers with possible a thundershower or two in the south to southeast communities.
The greatest chance of showers will be in the areas of the southern South Plains and southward into central Texas.
As for the remainder of the week, sunshine and warmer temperatures will return Tuesday and continue through the week. There will be some rain chances coming this way, but it may be late week or the weekend…
