LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas — Several local fire departments are battling a structure fire in North Lubbock County.
According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, there was a fully engulfed structure in the 14600 block of North County Road 3240. Idalou, New Deal and Abernathy Fire Departments were reported to be the first on the scene, with Carlisle, Buffalo Springs, Shallowater, Woodrow and Lorenzo assisting later. No injuries have been reported, as of writing.
Nearby neighbors reported that an 18-wheeler carrying water tanks was sent in by one of these neighbors to assist in refilling the firetruck tankers.
