LUBBOCK, Texas — Each graduation comes with classes of students who have worked hard to get to receive their diplomas and Lubbock-Cooper’s newest high school is no exception.
As part of the school’s biggest milestone, they’re not only planning their first graduation, but two of their students, Madelyn Beasley and Taelyn Salinas, are working on their speeches as the school’s first Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
“It felt really nice… knowing that all our hard work over the years paid off,” said Beasley, who has the honor to be the school’s first Valedictorian.
