LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Windy and hot weather returns to our area Thursday. Much milder conditions will follow Friday. There is mixed news about our weather for the weekend. Here’s what I expect.
The next few days will bring a large swing in conditions across West Texas and eastern New Mexico. Thursday will be windy and hot with critical wildfire conditions developing, meaning no outdoor burning. Friday brings a nice break with much less wind and a little less heat. The weekend, however brings back the heat with Sunday bringing strong winds. And possible blowing dust.
