Lubbock woman honors sister lost to cervical cancer with awareness run

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock woman is honoring her sister by bringing awareness to a disease more than 13,000 women across the country are expected to be diagnosed with this year.

Amy Fulton said her sister Ashley Doyle was a CNA who was going to school for nursing. The two sisters were attached at the hip growing up in Lubbock.

Fulton said Doyle went in for a doctor’s appointment in April 2024 to see if she could have another child. Doctors discovered something abnormal and ran tests…
