Deceased Lubbock motorcyclist featured in new TxDOT safety campaign

LUBBOCK, Texas — As May 1 begins Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, TxDOT is launching the “Share the Road: Look Twice for Motorcycles” campaign, featuring Case Clark, a Lubbock man who was 22-years-old when he was hit in a head-on collision in Hockley County while riding his motorcycle.

The campaign is to remind drivers to remain alert and watch carefully for motorcycles on Texas roadways. Motorcycles are smaller and harder to see on the road, which is why taking an extra moment to double check for them can often mean the difference between life and death.
