Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy sky. Low of 46°. Winds SW 10 MPH.Tomorrow: Partly cloudy. High of 79°. Winds SW 15-20 MPH, gusts near 30 MPH.
TONIGHT:
Winds will remain very light tonight. Speeds should not exceed 10 MPH. Temperatures will get chilly again, but not as cold as what we had to start our Saturday morning. Sunday will start with temperatures in the mid 40s. Areas off the Caprock will start in the low 50s. Cloud conditions will be partly cloudy to mostly clear.

SUNDAY:
Another day of clearing up and drying will continue tomorrow. Wind speeds will be from the southwest between 15 and 20 MPH. We could have a few gusts near 30 MPH. These southwesterly winds will usher in drier desert area, which will allow temperatures to rise quickly in the afternoon. Those high temperatures will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s.

EXTENDED FORECAST:
Wind conditions will be gradually increasing as we move through the first part of the week. Tuesday will become the windiest day as we could see wind gusts as high as 40 MPH. Temperatures will be on the rise, until a cold front moves in Wednesday night. That cooler air will help give us a cooler start on Thursday morning, but Thursday afternoon will recover with temperatures returning to the 80s. The weekend looks to become warmer with temperatures approaching the 90s. Rain chances remain low, but there is a very small chance an isolated shower or two could pop up on Saturday. We’ll keep you updated on those chances as we move forward.
