LUBBOCK, Texas — If you have recently found yourself doing a closet clean out, you may feel overwhelmed and unsure what to do with your clothes. Consider making a positive impact and donating them to a local clothing closet in Lubbock. Many organizations accept clothing donations.
Skunk tested positive for Rabies in Clovis
Here is a list of organizations with their hours of operations:
- Women’s Protective Services – Will accept used items & clothing at the Guadalupe Economic Services Corporation at 1502 Erskine St., Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Lubbock Dream Center – Open to the public Monday – Wednesday and located at 1111 30th Street, you can call (806) 793-3336 for information on how to donate used clothes.
- Greenlaw Church of Christ – The Blessing Center is located in the south parking lot behind the main Green Lawn building at 5701 19th St. There is a drop box on the southeast corner of the building. Larger items can be delivered at the large door on the south of the building during times the center is operating.
- HOPE Community – Located at 2005 Avenue T, HOPE is always taking donations.
- FOUND – Take donations of clothing, food and hygiene products. Contact the organization at [email protected].
- Caleb’s Closet – A non-profit they collect new or gently used clothing, baby gear for children in foster care from newborn to 18 years old. Donations can be made Wednesday-Saturday at the Caleb’s Closet shed in the parking lot of Aldersgate Church at 10306 Indiana Ave.
- Salvation Army – Located at 1111 16th Street, the Salvation Army is always looking for items like deodorant, towels, shampoo and conditioner and detergent pods.
