1. ‘Wisconsin can do better’: Lawmakers & advocates call for an end to gun violence

Democratic state lawmakers, members of the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort, and other community members came together at the State Capitol on Wednesday, calling for an end to gun violence. Kewannee Allen was part of the group and discussed how her life changed forever in Nov. 2021. That’s when her 19-year-old son Amareon was shot and killed in Brown Deer.
