Auto repair work sparks garage fire in Rock County, requires 6,000 gallons of water to extinguish

FULTON, Wis. (WTVO) — Firefighters in Fulton, Wisconsin, say it took an estimated 6,000 gallons of water to extinguish a garage fire caused by auto repair work the owner was conducting.

According to Lakeside Fire-Rescue, firefighters responded to a 911 call at 4:21 p.m. on Monday, at a house on fire on Kidder Road.

Black smoke could be seen in the sky, so the incident was upgraded to call in first responders from numerous surrounding agencies, officials said…
