MADISON, Wis. — July 29, 2026 — WMTV 15 News, Madison’s Most Watched News Station, is pleased to announce that veteran journalist Mark Charter is returning to local airwaves as the station’s new evening anchor. Charter will co-anchor WMTV’s 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. newscasts.
Charter is a familiar face to southern Wisconsin viewers, having previously spent more than three years anchoring the morning news in the Madison market on WKOW.
