MADISON, Wis. — A St. Vincent de Paul store on Madison’s Williamson Street is working to recover a $100,000 financial loss after being forced to close for 10 days following the July 22 shooting of Corey Ruiz.
The shooting happened directly outside the St. Vincent de Paul store and social services offices at Williamson and Baldwin streets. The organization says it immediately closed the store following the shooting.
