Several Madison schools participating in free meal program

MADISON, Wis. — Several Madison Metropolitan School District schools will participate in the federal Community Eligibility Provision program this school year, offering free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students.

The Community Eligibility Provision is a nonpricing meal-service option for schools and school districts in low-income areas. Students at participating schools may receive free meals regardless of their free and reduced-price meal status.

Students enrolled in the following schools and programs are eligible for free breakfast and lunch:

  • Anana Elementary School

  • Badger Rock Middle School

  • Black Hawk Middle School

  • Capital High School

  • Hawthorne Elementary School

  • Henderson Elementary School

  • Kennedy Elementary School

  • Lake View Elementary School

  • Leopold Elementary School

  • Lindbergh Elementary School

  • Lori Mann Carey Elementary School

  • Mendota Elementary School

  • Muir Elementary School

  • Orchard Ridge Elementary School

  • Sandburg Elementary School

  • Schenk Elementary School

  • Sherman Middle School

  • Whitehorse Middle School

  • Wright Middle School
