MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man who they said tried to slash someone with a butcher’s knife at a hotel on the city’s east side Saturday night.
The attack was reported at the Rodeway Inn and Suites in the 4800 block of Hayes Road at around 10:15 p.m. Police said a man got angry and used a butcher’s knife to stab a door and prevent people from leaving a room.
