The Oregon volleyball team went 5-2 to finish second place in the Sun Prairie Invitational on Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, at Sun Prairie East High School.
The only two losses for the Panthers came in three sets to eventual champion Manitowoc Lincoln.
Oregon breezed by Wrightstown 25-16, 25-7. The Panthers clipped Sun Prairie East in three sets, 17-25, 27-25, 15-13. Manitowoc Lincoln defeated Oregon 21-25, 25-21, 15-7. The Panthers then defeated Stoughton 25-18, 25-17. Oregon clipped Edgewood in three 19-25, 25-23, 15-8. The Panthers then defeated McFarland 25-21, 25-11.
