LODI — The Milton boys and girls cross country teams put together a pair of solid showings at the 2026 Lodi Invitational on Saturday at Lodi Middle School.
The boys varsity squad secured second place on the team leaderboard, finishing only behind Janesville Parker out of the seven teams in attendance, while the Milton girls varsity team earned a third place finish. The Milton boys and girls JV teams were also able to both emerge as team champions.
In the boys varsity 5000 meter run, a total of three Red Hawks ran in the top 10 of the field as junior Matthew Noble’s time of 18:09.60 secured him a spot on the podium in third place. Meanwhile Joshua Grossen’s time of 18:13.90 and Conner Adams’ time of 18:28.30 helped the duo earn finishes of fourth and sixth place, respectively…
