FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) – A portion of Lacy Road will be temporarily closed to all traffic between Central Park Place and E. Cheryl Parkway for construction, the City of Fitchburg announced on Tuesday.
According to officials, the closure will begin Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 a.m. and is expected to remain in place through Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
There will be no access through the closure area during the two weeks.
The city says drivers should use Central Park Place or E. Cheryl Parkway to Syene Road as an alternate route and to plan for additional travel time…
