MADISON, Wis. — A Madison woman was only out of jail for a few minutes before robbing a 92-year-old woman, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Andrea Smith, 25, was released from the jail at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smith then allegedly robbed a woman in the women’s restroom on the first floor of the Public Safety Building. The victim is a volunteer at the jail who serves as a math tutor. She suffered minor injuries.
