After a cold start to the weekend, temperatures are on the rise

  • Sunday and Monday remain dry
  • Highs for the start of the week approaching 60 degrees
  • A stronger cold front arrives Wednesday

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – We’re heading into Saturday afternoon with some pretty nice November weather across southern Wisconsin. Sunshine will mix with occasional high clouds, while temperatures climb into the lower 50s. Light westerly winds will make it a comfortable afternoon, especially compared with the damp, windy weather earlier this week.

For Badgers fans heading to Camp Randall this afternoon, the forecast will feel very fall-like. Expect dry skies and temperatures around 50 degrees during the game. A jacket will still be a good idea, particularly as temperatures begin falling later in the afternoon.

Saturday evening remains quiet, with some passing clouds and temperatures gradually falling through the 40s. Overnight lows will settle into the lower and middle 30s, making for another chilly start Sunday morning, but a bit milder than the 27-degree low we had in Madison this morning…
