MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A 47-year-old woman remains in the hospital after being assaulted on New Year’s Eve in her home on Madison’s east side, the Madison Police Department reports. The police department’s report indicated the battery happened around 3a.m. on Dec. 31, 2023, on Thorp Street.
