MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – One person is dead after a vehicle hit them, closing down the Beltline for hours Friday night into early Saturday morning. MPD says the incident happened at 10:20 p.m. Friday night, and despite life-saving efforts from the Madison Fire and Police Departments, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
