Recent warm up makes January nature walk more bearable

MIDDLETON, Wis. – Warmer weather makes a guided nature walk more enjoyable.

Families from around the area join Master Naturalist, Eva Roos on a guided tour. Families went on a walk led by Roos, learning how to identify plants.

“It’s so much warner today, than it’s been. It’s 45 degrees warmer than it was. So, I want to get out and be in nature,” says Hiam Garner, Birder for Plant ID Walk.

The guided tour is held every fourth Saturday free of charge at Pheasant Branch Prairie Encampment.
