MADISON, Wis. – On Saturday, community members and activists took to the capitol for a pro-abortion speak out.

The event organized by the Madison Abortion Reproductive Rights for Healthcare, or “MARRCH”, rallied at the forward statue to talk about how Roe was never enough.

“Roe was the floor. And what we need is something bigger than Roe. And just kind of all-encompassing reproductive rights, reproductive justice,” says Miranda Holland, a MARRCH board member.

This event comes just over four months after Planned Parenthood’s locations in Madison and Milwaukee restarted abortion services following the overturning of Roe V. Wade.
