MADISON, Wis. — Madison police officers responded to a report of shots fired near East Towne Mall Tuesday night.
MPD officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of East Springs Dr. around 9:09 p.m.
Officers made contact with the people who reported being shot at after a “disturbance” in the area.
Police said they found evidence of a shooting but found no injured people or damaged property.
MPD said those involved in the incident know each other and there is no threat to the public.
