Madison police respond to reported robbery at Old National Bank on west side

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police responded to a report of a robbery at an Old National Bank on the city’s west side Thursday afternoon.

MPD spokesperson Stephanie Fryer confirmed to News 3 Now that officers were dispatched to the bank at 5750 Raymond Road just before 5 p.m.

In an update, Madison police said a man entered the bank and handed an employee a note demanding cash. The man then ran from the bank with cash. Police did not provide a description of the suspect.

Officers attempted to track the man using a K9 unit, but the search ended in the 5800 block of Russett Road. No arrests have been made.
