MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Madison woman will spend 2.5 years behind bars plus five years on extended supervision for killing a man with her car while driving for DoorDash. Janessa Cardenas of Madison was sentenced in Dane County court Friday for the fatal crash that happened back in 2021 when police say she was driving 75 mph down East Washington Avenue one second before the collision.
