Top CBB Transfer AJ Storr Commits to Blue Blood Program Out of Portal

Former Wisconsin forward AJ Storr is transferring to Kansas for the 2024-25 season, he told The Athletic ’s Shams Charania .

Storr has been in college basketball for two seasons, first playing for St. Johns as a freshman before transferring to Wisconsin last season. Storr averaged 16.8 points per game, which led the Badgers team, after scoring just 8.8 points per game with the Red Storm a year prior.

Once Storr announced his intention to transfer after the season, the forward became one of the better players in the transfer portal. With the addition, the Jayhawks have now added a top player in the transfer portal in back-to-back seasons, as they brought in Hunter Dickinson from Michigan last year.

Wisconsin, meanwhile, will have to replace much of its starting lineup from last season, as veteran guard Chucky Hepburn also reportedly entered the portal on Thursday. Storr and Hepburn combined to start 71 games in 2023-24, when the Badgers won 22 games and made the Big Ten tournament final.
