New legislative maps mean big changes in Assembly District 78 – and a competitive primary. Gov. Tony Evers signed the new districts into law earlier this year after a Wisconsin Supreme Court decision invalidated the old lines. It means the 78th District now includes all of Monona and Blooming Grove, parts of east and south Madison and the northern half of McFarland.
