Oregon Among Nation’s Leaders in Attendance Through Three Weeks

The Oregon football team has brought in some of the best attendance numbers in the nation so far in 2024, selling out each of its first two home games against non-conference competition.

According to a weekly survey conducted by SuperWest Sports, the Ducks boast an average home attendance of 57,785, or 107% of Autzen Stadium’s capacity. In other words, thousands of Oregon fans have enjoyed the Ducks’ first two home games of the season from standing room only.

The average mark of 107% was ranked No. 1 among all schools in SuperWest’s coverage area, which includes “teams in the West from the Big Ten, Big 12, MWC, Pac-12, WCC,” while Colorado State, BYU and Utah were the only other schools to boast an average attendance above 100%.

Among the schools averaging a sellout so far, Oregon’s attendance number was the second-highest behind BYU, which has played in front of 63,712 fans on average this season.

Of the Ducks’ two sellout crowds so far in 2024, the one that witnessed a dramatic win over Boise State was the largest, with 58,134 fans in attendance. Against Idaho, Oregon played in front of 57,435 fans.
