MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man early Monday morning who they said smashed the windows of several State Street businesses.

Officers found several smashed windows along the street at around 3:42 a.m. They then learned of a disturbance happening in the 300 block of State Street, which is between West Gorham Street and West Johnson Street.

A 31-year-old Madison man was found with a brick in his hands and was arrested. He faces charges of felony damage to property, felony bail jumping and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
