MADISON, Wis. — A 14-year-old boy was taken to a hospital Friday evening after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Madison’s east side.
Officers were called to the 800 block of South Thompson Drive just after 5:20 p.m. after the crash was reported. Police said the teen was riding his bike on Cottage Grove Road when he was hit.
The driver remained on scene and was cited for failure to yield causing bodily harm.
