Man found on southwest side identified, reunited with loved ones

In an update, Madison police said the man was identified and reunited with his loved ones Friday morning.


MADISON, Wis. — Madison police asked the public’s help in identifying a man who was found on the city’s southwest side early Friday morning.

Officers found a man standing in the road in the 5000 block of Raymond Road just before 3 a.m. He was assessed by paramedics and is uninjured, however he appears to be non-verbal and officers have not been able to determine his identity or if he lives in the area.

The man is white, in his late teens or early twenties, about six feet tall and 170lbs with short brown hair. He was found wearing pajama pants and a dark-colored t-shirt. Police did not share a photo of the man.
