Cambridge’s girls golf team shot 376 to win the Rock Valley Conference Championship at Janesville Riverside Golf Course on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The Blue Jays finished 11 strokes ahead of second-place Lakeside Lutheran en route to putting the finishing touches on a first-place finish in the overall standings.
Cambridge sophomore Jill Thompson shot 80 to tie for second individually, a stroke behind Lakeside senior Reagan Gebhart who earned medalist honors.
Thompson, whose nine-hole scoring average of 41.71 was second-lowest in the RVC, garnered first team all-conference honors for her season-long play.
Senior Zoe Krueger shot 97 to finish sixth for the Blue Jays.
Cambridge senior Katherine Brown (98) and junior Marissa Schneider (101) also scored, finishing seventh and eighth.
