LAKE MILLS — For the first year, Lake Mills Area School District hosted a wellness resource fair to provide students, parents and community members to learn more about resources available to them.
Carmen Weldon, LMASD’s Director of Community Education said there are so many resources in the community, and they want students, parents and community members to understand what is available to them.
“We really want to provide the community with local resources,” Jamie Everson, the Director of Student Services said ahead of the event.
The event this year featured vendor tables from Lake Mills and surrounding areas with mental and physical health resources, along with a speaker and a small meal.
Everyone also received a raffle ticket, with prizes contributed by local community business sponsors including the Lake Mills Market, Bank of Lake Mills, Greenwoods State Bank, Rock Lake Nutrition, Topel’s, Seljan and many more.
