Dear Editor: With the Nov. 5 election just around the corner, please take a moment to view what election day looks like from an election official/poll worker perspective. First, we are your neighbors and represent both parties plus independent voters. We are election officials because we feel a sense of civic commitment to free and fair elections. Many of us are retirees (senior citizens).
