Gwen Walz will campaign in Beloit, Madison on Wednesday, continuing a string of visits

Gwen Walz, Minnesota’s first lady and wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, will return to Wisconsin Wednesday to campaign in Beloit and Madison.

The events will mark Walz’s sixth and seventh campaign stops in Wisconsin, the campaign said. Walz plans to speak to voters about the contrast between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump’s policies on abortion rights and the economy, according to an advisory.

Walz will speak in Beloit at 10 a.m. and in Madison at noon, though no locations have been publicly announced. In late September, Walz rallied volunteers at a campaign office in Ozaukee County , a Milwaukee suburb where Democrats have gained ground in recent elections.

With less than a month until Election Day, both campaigns have been ramping up their travel to the swing state. Trump is holding a rally in Juneau Sunday afternoon , and Vice President Kamala Harris received an endorsement from Republican former Rep. Liz Cheney in Ripon Thursday .
