Dear Editor: I wholeheartedly support the Madison Metropolitan School District’s (MMSD) two referendums totaling $607 million for operating and capital expenditures. Education – especially at the K-12 levels – is vital to our country’s well-being. Sadly, our state’s revenue-sharing model for funding of Madison public schools has been lacking for over a decade.
