Verona owner seeking help to find missing horse

VERONA, Wis. — Equestrians at Ray of Hope Stables are looking for a horse that escaped Monday near Verona, Wisconsin, and is still missing.

The horse, named “Kevin,” escaped after breaking down the fence to his pasture and fleeing the stable. His owner said he has on a rope halter and is likely scared. In addition to community help, a thermal drone will aid in the search for the horse.

Kevin’s owner said those in the Verona and Mount Horeb areas should keep a lookout for a chestnut horse with two white socks and a white stripe down his nose.

If you have any sightings, please call Kevin’s owner at (608) 807-8175.
