MADISON, Wis. — This year’s Koats for Kids campaign has been a massive success, and we extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed. As we all know, weather in our region can change from summer to winter in a snap, and when it does, we want to make sure everyone has a warm coat in their closet.
While we are still awaiting the final total, the current count from all the Klinke Cleaner locations is 2,918 coats. This includes 115 coats purchased from our Amazon Wish List. More numbers are coming in, and we hope to announce the grand total on Distribution Day, next Friday, October 25th.
For those who need a warm coat this winter, you can pick one up on October 25th, from 9 AM until 6 PM, at the following Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County locations:
- Allied Family Center in Fitchburg
- Erica & Anthony Fleming Boys and Girls Club in Madison
- McKenzie Family Boys and Girls Club in Sun Prairie
