DOJ names Fitchburg sergeant involved in shooting of suspect who died at hospital

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Wisconsin Department of Justice named the officer involved in the August shooting of a suspect in Fitchburg who later died at a hospital. The DOJ stated Thursday that Fitchburg Police Department Sergeant Peter Johnston fired his weapon, hitting Kevin Price. Johnston has 14 years of law enforcement experience, according to the DOJ.
