WATCH LIVE: Walz and Obama campaign in Madison, Wisconsin

Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) and former President Barack Obama are holding a campaign event in Madison, Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon.

Their visit comes as early voting kicks off in Wisconsin on Tuesday. As of Friday, more than 305,000 absentee ballots had already been returned in the state.

Obama won the state of Wisconsin in both 2008 and 2012.

Dane County, where Madison is located, is one of the Democratic strongholds of the state. Vice President Kamala Harris held a rally at the same venue last month, which more than 10,000 people attended.
