Severe Impacts New.png

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: As storms continue to travel further east through southern Wisconsin, they are expected to continue to weaken. The threat of isolated severe weather is decreasing, although a storm with gusty winds cannot be entirely ruled out. Tonight’s showers and storms will likely bring about .25-1″ of rainfall; a few areas could see 1-2″ in the localized areas of heaviest rainfall, especially west of Madison. Showers and storms can be expected through 2 am, before becoming more isolated. Most of the rain will clear out well before trick-or-treating hours, but a few sprinkles are possible. It also will be breezy and cooler during that time (temperatures in the middle to upper 40s). Winds could gust up to 40 MPH on Halloween Thursday – bundle up!
