Driftless Film Festival

The Driftless Film Festival returns for its 15th iteration. This year, 28 selections from filmmakers based across the country will be screened in the Mineral Point Opera House. “Blue Comet”

A forgotten comedy by Eden Phillpotts performed in England in the 1920s, “Blue Comet” has never been fully staged in the United States until now. The Madison Shakespeare Company performs Phillpott’s “terribly polite comedy about the end of the world” for two weekends only at the Bartell Theatre. Nov. 1-9, 113 E. Mifflin St.

Women Artists Forward Fund Exhibition

An exhibition of artworks by applicants to the 2024 Forward Art Prize are now on display at Aubergine Gallery, a Willy Street Co-op Community Space. The Forward Art Prize offers two monetary awards to women visual artists living in Dane County. Nov. 1-Dec. 1, 1226 Williamson St.
