After 13 hours of voting, polling places in Madison are now closed and the waiting begins. Wisconsin’s elections clerks typically report initial voting results soon after 8 p.m. and then additional results well into the evening. While polling places close at 8 p.m., some voting may still happen after that time if people were already in line.
