Man in Wisconsin arrested for pushing cafe employee when told restrooms are only for customers

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southern Wisconsin arrested an elderly man Monday evening for battery and disorderly conduct for pushing a cafe employee.

According to the Madison Police Department , a 72-year-old man was arrested on November 11 after allegedly pushing a cafe employee. Around 9:35 p.m. officers were sent to the 400 block of State Street for a reported disturbance.

Officials say that a man was accused of pushing an employee multiple times after he was told that the bathroom was only for customers. The man was still in the cafe when police arrived, according to the release.

The man, identified as a 72-year-old from Madison, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct. He was later taken to the Dane County Jail.
